Every pilot can help to make the event as enjoyable as possible for all participants. We request you to put all the times on the flightplans according to UTC. We will have Voice-Atis during the event. Keep your read backs short and simple. No unnecessary radio-messages. If you do not understand an instruction then ask the controller to reapeat. Do not guess what the controller could have meant! Make readbacks as quick as possible. If this is not possible then advise the controller by saying something like Standbye please. Do not call the controller while he is in conversation with other pilot. If a controller does not reply to that means most probably he is very busy. In such a situation do not send a private message to the controller to tell him that you are waiting for him. The controller will call you back in sequence.DEPARTURESStart-Up:Place your aircraft at a gate. Please use a gate which fits to your aircraft. A lot of parking positions and captions are missing in the default scenery. If you can not find your stand just try to guess the position with the Ground-Chart. Listen to Voice-Atis about 5 minutes before planned departure time. Call Delivery when ready for enroute-clearance and start-up.Pushback:After correct readback Delivery will advise you to monitor ground. Directly tune in the new fequency and wait until the controller calls you (about 5 Minutes before planned departure time). Do not ask the controller for pushback and startup unless it seems that he has forgotten you! Pushback approval is valid for 5 minute. If you are not able to start pushback within this time then advise controller and report as soon as you are ready again.Taxi:Call Ground when ready for taxi. Aircraft vacating the runway have precedence to aircraft on taxiway. Pilots on the taxiway shall have to adjust speed (maximum 25 Knots) and give way to the pilots who are vacating the runway. Ground will hand you off Tower when you are approaching the holding point. Keep the initial contact with Tower as short as possible. Take-Off:Be ready for an immediate departure The Tower will hand you off to Departure. On initial contact with Departure report current altitude and altitude you are cleared to climb. Do not climb above initial climb altitude without further clearance. Initial climb altitude for most SIDs is FL070. ARRIVALSCruise/Descent:Please listen to Voice ATIS around 5-10 minutes before descending. Inform the controller if you have to leave his frequency to listen to the ATIS. Maybe there will be enroute holdings in high traffic situations. Approach: Be prepared for holdings Carefully study the arrival charts. Be prepared to be redirected to other STARs in case of high traffic.Final:Expect late landing clearence (3-5nm final). Vacate active runway as soon as possible to give way to following traffic.Taxi In/Shutdown:If you are not sure where to taxi ask Ground. Depending on traffic load it might take a while until you get taxi instructions. Please do not start taxi without an explicite taxi instruction. Please ask for Shutdown, leaving frequency and so on when arrived at the park position. If the controller seems to be busy wait for his response.
